Silicone Coated PET Release Liner (Antistatic & Clear)
The "Glass-Smooth" Solution for Precision Casting and Die-Cutting.
Charmetack’s **PET Release Film** is a high-grade polyester liner coated with a solvent-free or solvent-based silicone system. Unlike paper liners, PET offers **superior surface smoothness**, high tensile strength, and zero dust generation (Class 1000 Cleanroom compatible).
It is the critical carrier for manufacturing **Ultra-Thin Tapes**, **MLCC ceramics**, and **Optical Adhesives (OCA)**. We offer customized Antistatic (ESD) treatments to prevent dust attraction during processing.
Why Choose Our PET Liner?
- Optical Clarity: Our clear PET liner allows for easy inspection of the adhesive layer and is suitable for "No-Label Look" applications.
- Antistatic (ESD) Treatment: Available with single or double-sided antistatic coating (10^8 - 10^10 Ω) to prevent static shock and dust contamination.
- High Temperature Resistance: Withstands curing temperatures up to 180°C, making it safe for hot adhesive coating lines.
- Dimensional Stability: Minimal shrinkage (<1.5% @ 150°C), ensuring precise registration for multi-layer die-cutting.

Typical Applications
- MLCC Manufacturing: As the casting carrier for ceramic slurry (requires ultra-smooth surface).
- Electronic Die-Cutting: Base liner for thermal pads, graphite sheets, and foam gaskets.
- Adhesive Tapes: Liner for double-sided PET tapes and transfer tapes.
- Medical Patches: Clean and safe liner for hydrogel wound dressings.
FAQ: PET Release Liner
Q: Do you have Antistatic PET liner?
Yes. Static electricity is a major issue with PET. We can apply an Antistatic Coating to reduce surface resistance to 10^9 Ω, preventing dust attraction and "static cling" during label dispensing.
Q: What is the difference between In-line and Off-line coating?
We offer both. In-line coating (during film extrusion) is cost-effective for thin films (12um). Off-line coating (precision coating head) allows for more accurate release force control (e.g., specific 3g or 50g requirements).
