Self-adhesive label materials are made from paper, plastic, and chemicals through multiple processing steps. Improper storage can easily affect the quality of the printing or labeling process, so proper storage and handling conditions are crucial:
Storage Requirements
- Avoid direct sunlight and protect from moisture, sunlight, high temperatures, and extremely low temperatures.
- Store away from flammable, volatile, and other hazardous materials. Do not mix with them.
- Self-adhesive materials should be wrapped in moisture-proof paper or film when stored. Rolled materials should be stacked upright, and sheets should be stored flat on pallets or shelves. Each pallet should not exceed 1.2 meters in height. Keep the goods at least 10 cm above the floor (pallet). Watch out for yellowing or a decrease in adhesion.
Usage Requirements
- The surface of the object to be adhered must be free of dust, water stains, oil stains, chemicals, or other contaminants. If present, wipe clean to ensure adhesion.
- For rough surfaces or other requirements, special adhesive and adhesion requirements may be required.
- When applying self-adhesive products, apply the adhesive evenly across the entire surface. Pressure is required to achieve the ideal adhesion effect.
- Select printing and processing materials based on the printing process (e.g., screen printing, offset printing, rotary printing, flexographic printing) and processing method (e.g., sheet-to-sheet feeding, fanfold feeding).
- Sino self-adhesive label printing materials come in a variety of materials and adhesives. Customers can select the material and adhesive properties they desire, or consult our sales staff for recommendations. However, due to the various factors that may affect the product during production and use, it is recommended that new materials be tested under the same printing, processing, and labeling conditions before applying them.
