PLA Biodegradable Label Materials (Compostable Eco-Film)

Charmetack PLA Biodegradable Label Materials offer a sustainable, high-performance alternative to traditional petrochemical plastics (like PP/PET). Derived from renewable plant resources (such as corn starch), our PLA (Polylactic Acid) films are fully biodegradable and compostable, helping brands achieve their zero-waste packaging goals.

  • Bio-based PLA Facestock — Available in Clear (Transparent) or White (20–120 μm). It provides the same high clarity, stiffness, and printability as standard synthetic films but is earth-friendly.
  • Compostable Adhesive System — Featuring a specialized biodegradable hot-melt or acrylic adhesive (Loop tack > 8 N) that breaks down safely without leaving toxic residue.
  • Eco-conscious Structure — Paired with recyclable Glassine or PEK release liners to ensure a minimized carbon footprint throughout the product lifecycle.

Ideal Applications: Organic food packaging, eco-friendly cosmetics, sustainable retail products, and "Green" brand labeling.

product description

Reliable Performance on Metal Surfaces. Guaranteed.

Standard RFID tags fail when attached to metal because the surface reflects the signal. Charmetack’s **RFID Anti-Metal Tags** are specially engineered with a shielding layer (ferrite or specialized antenna design) to overcome this interference.

Whether you need **Flexible Tags** for curved pipes, rugged **ABS Hard Tags** for outdoor containers, or heat-resistant **PCB Tags** for industrial tooling, we have the right solution to track your metallic assets with 100% accuracy.

Product Types & Materials

We offer three categories of On-Metal tags to suit different environments:

Type Description & Material Read Range
1. Flexible Printable Tag Material: Synthetic PET face + Foam-based anti-metal layer.
Feature: Soft & flexible. Can be printed by RFID thermal transfer printers (like Zebra). Ideal for IT assets (laptops) and curved pipes.
2 – 5 Meters
2. Rugged ABS Hard Tag Material: Industrial ABS plastic housing (IP68 Waterproof).
Feature: Extremely durable. Can be mounted via screws, rivets, or strong 3M adhesive. Best for warehousing racks and containers.
5 – 12 Meters
3. PCB / Ceramic Tag Material: FR4 PCB board or Ceramic substrate.
Feature: Mini size & high-temperature resistance (up to 200°C). Perfect for tracking small tools, molds, and medical instruments.
1 – 4 Meters

FAQ: RFID On-Metal Tags

Q: Can I print on these tags?

Yes, if you choose our Flexible Anti-Metal Labels. They are compatible with standard RFID thermal transfer printers (e.g., Zebra ZT410, Sato). ABS and PCB tags typically require laser engraving or pre-printing.

Q: How do I attach them?

For indoor smooth surfaces (servers), our high-tack 3M adhesive is sufficient. For outdoor containers or rough surfaces, we recommend using screws or rivets through the pre-drilled holes in our Hard Tags.
